"When we moved to Ivy Mill Lane, our children were just starting school. As we leave, they are off to university. In the time between, the house has been all about their childhood. We have many happy memories. The first thing we did was renovate the pool and garden, creating the terrace and railings to keep it safe and sunny, as the kids learned to swim and played endlessly during the summer. We renovated the coach house so that we could build our business and work from home, but now it acts as a den for teenagers! The countryside is on our doorstep but with London, its airports and the south coast all reachable within an hour.
What we will miss most is the Green. I never bored of the views from the kitchen as we sat around the table, or from the bedrooms, every morning, watching the seasons change."
