Set back from the main bustle of Reigate Town, this charming Victorian detached home which has kept lots of its original period features is perfect for any family. With being just a short walk away from Reigate station, you are also within walking distance of the main town and some great schools. There is also a pub that is just up the road with a lovely garden so you can sit outside in those summer evenings and enjoy a gin & tonic with friends.
Walking through your private gated front garden up to the stained-glass front door, you enter the spacious hallway with a cloakroom. At the front of the property is the cosy living room, its large bay window allows light to flood the space and the feature fireplace is a wonderful additional, especially in the cold winter months. Wooden flooring, some original throughout makes cleaning easier!
Through to the back of the property is the huge family room and kitchen, this unique layout is ideal for a busy, social family which means you can be cooking in the kitchen whilst being able to see the children playing in the snug or doing their homework at the table. The modern kitchen has built in utilities and the breakfast bar at the end integrates you into the dining area. Skylights at the end of the room brighten up the whole space, and large patio doors offer views to the beautiful secluded garden, where you can sit out on the patio and enjoy a BBQ whilst the children run around and play.
The first floor has three double bedrooms, two of which have built in wardrobes. The family bathroom is finished to a beautiful and very high standard, tiled throughout making maintaining it easy. The large bathtub is very inviting and there’s more than enough room for any additional storage you would like to add. Up to the second floor, you’ll find the spacious master bedroom with en-suite. With its high ceiling, added skylight and neutral décor throughout, this will make adding your own personal touch an easy task.
"We have lived in this house for six happy years. It's a fabulous family home with lots of potential and living so close to town has been a joy. We have numerous schools within walking distance as well as benefiting from being within walking distance of Reigate Station. We have particularly enjoyed being so close to Reigate's beautiful Priory Park. The Road is quiet with hardly any through traffic due to a cul-de-sac at the end and all our neighbours have been friendly and welcoming. Our peacefully secluded garden with views to Reigate Hill has been a haven for us and our children. Another favourite feature of the house are the original windows which flood the house with light and afford beautiful views both front and back."
