This spacious detached family home is located in Merstham Village, it’s generous driveway and pretty red brick front sits back from the road and invites you in.
Stepping into the bright hallway where you can leave your coat and shoes before heading through to the living room, the beautiful bay window lets natural light floor in and opens up the space on offer. During the winter months you can curl up in front of the fireplace and catch up on your favourite TV series.
At the back of the property is the play room and open plan kitchen/dining area, this is a great layout for a social family. The bright fitted kitchen offers plenty of cupboard space so you are able to make the most of the worktop space where you can create some delicious meals whilst enjoy the views of the pretty garden. During the summer you can open up the back doors that lead out to the patio here you can set up your BBQ and relax in the sunshine whilst the children play. There is also a downstairs W/C where your guests can wash up before wining and dining.
Upstairs there are three large double bedrooms and one single, all have high ceilings and large windows creating an even bigger feel of space. The neutral décor throughout allows you to move straight in and add your own personal touch without hassle - the fourth bedroom would make a nursery or home office. Like the rest of the house, the bathroom is a great size with a large free standing shower and bathtub that you can soak and relax in after a long hard day.
Merstham station is just a short walk away, and the local array of shops has all the essentials you’ll need. If you fancy popping into town Redhill is also within walking distance, it’s station offers great links into London, Gatwick and Brighton and during the summer why not pop to the Redhill Memorial park where you can enjoy a nice picnic or grab something yummy from the friendly park café.
"Since moving to Merstham from London nearly 13 years ago, we have made Orpin Road our home. It is a quiet, peaceful road with young families living here. We have extended and renovated our lovely home and garden, adding a kitchen diner and an additional bedroom upstairs. The garden is quiet and peaceful, capturing the early morning sun on the patio and the afternoon / evening sun on the recently added dining area. With young children, the location of our house is perfect. We are within walking distance of two local primary schools, a number of parks to choose from, as well as Mercers Country Park. Having previously commuted, we are handily located with easy access by foot to both Redhill and Merstham train stations. We have loved every minute of living in this house, Orpin Road and Merstham."
