St Johns is a popular road with a pretty array of homes, this detached Victorian house is one of those properties where you step inside and instantly fall in love. Extended and refurbished, the current owners have a keen eye for detail and have created a beautiful modern, bright and spacious place for a family to settle in and make some amazing memories.
Lit up by the large bay window, the living room is warm and inviting – the fireplace instantly draws you in as a rustic feature and there will be plenty of room to fit in a couple of sofas for you to chill out on with a hot drink and a good book! The spacious dining room has wooden flooring leading through from the hallway, the under-stair cupboard gives you storage space to keep things neatly tucked away and freeing up even more room for a large dining table and chair set where you can enjoy a delicious dinner with friends before games night begins!
The kitchen has been refurbished with a skylight added in to bring in natural light all year round, it’s white cupboards and light wooden flooring brighten up the already dazzling room – integrated appliances such as a fridge freezer and microwave allow you to utilise the space on offer.
Upstairs the two great size double bedrooms are bright and spacious, the second bedroom also includes some storage space. Both bedrooms have been decorated with light colours and plush light grey carpets so you can move in and add your own personal touch with ease – the cast iron fireplaces are an original feature that adds a little touch of vintage. The family bathroom is a decent size with a large bathtub and overhead shower and the master bedroom has an en-suite with a walk in shower.
The garden has been landscaped and is great for those who enjoy the outdoors but don’t enjoy getting their hands dirty with the upkeep! There is side access so if you’ve got dogs that get muddy after walking in the surrounding countryside you can clean them off outside.
"We were really excited to find such a lovely detached property in Earlswood back in 2014 & we have thoroughly enjoyed updating it to suit our needs as a now family of 3. The extension we built in 2017 has made such a difference to the property, with much more space and light in the kitchen to enjoy. The new en-suite in the master bedroom is just the perfect way to start the day......we will seriously miss it. Earlswood itself has a lovely community feel, with lots of young families around. It's also great for links to London, being only a short journey by train."
