This 1960s two-bedroom terraced home has spacious rooms, along with a lovely garden, parking and a garage! Set just off the main road, down a quite close, you have everything you need within walking distance whist being tucked away from the buzz of the main road and array of shops.
Leaving your winter boots and jackets in the porch, you head in – to your right is the kitchen, a good size with lots of cupboards to keep things neatly tucked away the white gloss doors sit nicely against the dark wooden flooring and counter tops. With built in appliances the design of this kitchen really utilises the space on offer, there is even room for a small table and chair set where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast before the busy day begins.
At the back of the property is the open plan living space, adding in a big comfy corner sofa and entertainment unit, you can easily picture yourself curled up here on a rainy day with a hot drink, some snacks and good movie! During the warmer months you can open up the conservatory doors and let a warm gentle breeze makes its way through the house. The conservatory is a great additional space, you could add in a larger dining table for friends and family to sit when you throw dinner parties and show off your culinary skills. Outside the pretty garden is kept secluded with shrubbery and trees with a splash of colour from the roses – you can sit outside with a glass of G&T as you wait for the BBQ to heat up and enjoy the sunshine.
Upstairs there are two generous bedrooms, both come with built in storage and there is additional storage in the hallway and landing! The family bathroom has a large bath with an overhead shower, the tiled finish will make cleaning an easy chore and there is storage under the sink to keep things tidy. There is also a W/C downstairs.
For parking, along with a big driveway there is also a garage. If you don’t need this for the car this is a great option for some more storage.
"I purchased this lovely house when I got divorced nearly 3yrs ago, I didn’t want a flat as had been used to having an upstairs and a garden both of which I enjoyed and didn’t want to lose. It’s in a great location, I have an M&S garage 2mins walk away to purchase a quick snack for my tea after a long day at work, there is a fab newsagents just up the road, David the owner and his wife and family have been like friends, helping me out with local knowledge and delivering my paper. At the top of Buckland Rd you enter another world, just a short walk away and you enter Colley Hill a National Trust area with walks and views that were great during the recent lockdown. I have friends located all over the place so to be within easy access of both the M25 and M23 makes trips out to see them easy. The only reason for me moving on is to be closer to my daughter, she recently had her 1st child and I provide some childcare for her to enable her to return to work, I would also love to just be 5 mins away from her so that I could see my grandson on a daily basis."
