This gorgeous Victorian home is full of light, it’s spacious and airy feel is inviting and welcoming as soon as you step foot through the door. Beautifully decorated throughout, the neutral tones create a calming environment and will allow you to move in and add you own stamp with ease.
Homes around here are in demand as buyers moving from London feel the similarity in the roads and property styles are uncanny. An area perfect for young professionals and growing families, there are some excellent schools in the surrounding area for all ages and Redhill station offers quick links in London, Brighton and Gatwick.
Heading down the steps into the front garden and into the front door, the hallway leads you through to the open plan living/dining room. The large bay window has natural light flowing through and opening up this already spacious room.
At the back of the property is the kitchen, white cupboards line the wall with a double oven, great for those big family dinners and pretty green metro tiles add a pop of colour. From here you have access through to the garden, super easy to maintain with a large patio, shed and a small lawn with shrubs lining either side of the fence. Access through the back of the garden is perfect for dog walks, you can clean off muddy paws and boots before heading through to the house.
Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms, the master has large built-in wardrobes, with the other two offering pretty views of the garden. The modern family bathroom includes a large tub, waterfall overhead shower and some storage to keep toiletries tidied away. If you are up for a little project, other properties along this road have extended up into the loft to create an extra bedroom (STPP).
During the weekend you can head to Redhill Common for a walk and enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding towns and countryside, on your way back home you can stop off at the Deli On the Hill to grab a treat.
"It has been a pleasure living here with the added benefit of lovely neighbours. We have enjoyed refurbishing the house : installing a new bathroom; fitting extensive storage space in all bedrooms; installing shutters throughout; laying new flooring; re-vamping the front and rear gardens. The central location with nearby mainline station has been ideal for an easy commute to work with a regular and frequent train service. This has also been ideal for days/evenings out in London and the coast. Excellent country walks on our doorstep, restaurants in Reigate, 'Deli On The Hill' (Linkfield St) is a firm favourite. Last but not least - we have truly benefited from the nearby gym - 5 minutes away - so no excuse!"
