We’re an independent and ever-growing company of like-minded property people. Across our offices, we work as a family. The teams gather twice a week to collaborate about business, which often gets extended beyond office hours for social engagements. We’re regularly featured in Surrey Life magazine, as well as contributing to our own neighbourhood publication. Online, you can engage with us in a variety of local social media pages.

Caring for our space like we care for yours

Each Ralph James office is styled with a vintage industrial aesthetic, embodying our passion for design while creating a home-like environment. Rather than a traditional layout with desks, we’ve opted to use sofas and booths for their welcoming character. We’re equipped with the latest technology and have partnered with local creatives to fill our offices with inspiring artwork.

Wellbeing is hugely important to us. Our teams have garden breakout areas, uplifting personal training sessions and a fleet of company bikes. By cycling to our viewings, we’re demonstrating our commitment to carbon neutrality. In fact, we continually examine our sustainability credentials and service to local communities — determined to make the best changes we can.

Thomas

Founder & CEO

For Thomas, presentation is everything. Having worked in corporate and independent companies since 1999 and managing his first agency at the tender age of 21, Thomas had the insight and innovation to open Ralph James in 2015. His goal was to reshape the industry by combining modern marketing strategies with dedicated personal service — creating a new standard of buying and selling property.

When Thomas first came to work in Reigate and Redhill, he loved what he saw. Reigate was the traditional darling of the two, a charming town with wonderful shops and schools surrounded by verdant countryside. Redhill was ripe with potential, with its collection of neighbourhoods, rail links to London and exciting central regeneration. They were the perfect places to launch Ralph James, which continues to expand to new locations under Thomas’ charismatic leadership and pioneering spirit.

Thomas is a keen developer himself and his passion for property knows no bounds. From renovating his own home to selling yours, there is no limit to the high standards he implements. He’s a dedicated family man, sports enthusiast and a true country soul — all values that permeate the company culture.

Tom

Head of Sales, Banstead

Tom grew up in Epsom, attending Glyn school in Ewell and recently purchased his first home in the area. With more than 10 years in the world of real estate, Tom joined Ralph James to progress his career and make a real difference in the industry. His passion for property inspires him every day and he loves meeting different clients and forming strong working relationships with them.

Outside of work, you’ll find Tom playing football, spending time with friends and family and taking trips to the coast.

Olivia

Trainee Sales Advisor

Olivia has always loved property and interiors, from tracking Rightmove listings to creating inspiring boards on Pinterest. 
 
During Summer 2022, whilst studying at Reigate college, Olivia’s first introduction to Ralph James began when she joined us for two week’s work experience, and her passion for property and enthusiasm to support the sales team was immediately apparent. Ralph James are pleased to now welcome Olivia to our Dorking team full time.
 
Having grown up locally, and attending schools in Dorking and Brockham, Olivia worked at The Reading Room in Brockham, where she showcased her love of working with people. 
 
Outside of work, you can find Olivia walking her dog, stopping at her local cafe for a hot chocolate, or at her favourite local spot, the Chimney Pots Walk in Betchworth.

Kelly

Sales Team Manager, Banstead

Kelly joins us following the merger with Lancasters, bringing her drive and compassion to Ralph James.

She grew up in Worcester Park and lived in South Sutton in her early teenage years. With family in Epsom and Ashstead, Kelly is a local girl through and through.

“I love Tattenham and Nork Park, we spend a lot of time there as a family over the warmer months. We enjoy the local restaurants and shops and the feel of community that Banstead has.”

Interspersed with a long career in the travel industry, Kelly has been an estate agent for over 6 years. For her, it’s all about the why behind a client’s motives.

“I love helping people find their first home or their forever home. It’s such an honour knowing that I helped them buy the house they will get married in, or have their first child in.”

Outside of work, Kelly spends time with her young family in London, walking along South Bank or in the food markets. When weather interrupts exploring, she’ll be at home crafting, swimming or at the cinema!

A true adventurer, last February saw Kelly and her husband climb Ben Nevis with 5 friends and, despite awful weather, persevering through snow and limited views to complete the challenge. This month she’ll be driving down to Wales to climb Snowdonia.

Ollie

Trainee Sales Advisor

With a smile and a can-do attitude, Ollie joins Ralph James eager to learn and driven to succeed. With a contagious postive attitude, Ollie brings a fresh enthusiasm to both our established Redhill office, and our newest venture in Banstead.

From the small village of Walton on the Hill, Ollie attended Box Hill School, followed by Reigate College. Outside of work, you’ll find him exploring new areas, trying new pubs and restaurants, or watching football. 

When considering a new career, Ollie reached out to Ralph James because of the difference in approach, offering an informal, personable service, and the unique design within the offices.  

“My goal is to continue to learn and grow every day at Ralph James, and one day be able to purchase a house of my own.”

Sam

Senior Lettings Advisor

Sam joins Ralph James following a break in her career to be at home with her children – the reason she’s so familiar with many of the local schools!
 
Having lived in Redhill for her whole childhood and into adulthood, Sam studied travel and tourism before working in the airport. Following her career break, and eager for a new challenge, Sam sought her new start in Estate Agency.
 
 “And where better than Ralph James, as it’s very close to my heart,” she says, “I have loved to watch this brand grow over the past 7 years.”
 
A good listener, Sam delights in matchmaking her clients with the ideal home that suits their every need.
 
Outside of work, you’ll find Sam making the most of the fresh air on her weekend walks in the Surrey Hills, or spending quality time with her family.

Chris

Redhill Branch Manager

On his 18th birthday, Chris began his career in estate agency, and has loved it ever since.
 
He grew up in Redhill and worked across RH1 and RH2 for a number of years before heading into London to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. Here, he spent 8 years in a leading office before returning to the area to join Ralph James.
 
“The industry has moved on, and Ralph James are at the forefront of this.” He says, “I love the design element as well as the welcoming, friendly approach. We treat our clients with compassion, not another number.”
 
Passionate about property, Chris thrives in a tougher market, bringing energy and a results-driven outset to meet his clients needs.
 
Outside of work, you can find Chris on a golf course, aiming to lower his handicap, or spending quality time with his young son, Frankie.

Macy

Content Creator

Having lived in Redhill all her life, Macy has always spent a lot of time around Redhill and Reigate. Having attending St Bedes school and then East Surrey College, Macy has always studied Photography. With a passion for anything creative, Macy loves photography, art, fashion, interior design and regularly browses Architectural Digest. 
 
Having gained confidence in a previous retail environment on Reigate high street, Macy joins Ralph James as our first Marketing apprentice, specialising in content creation for social media, website, within the community and for developments. The beginning of an exciting career!
 
When Reigate’s Molly popped into Macy’s work, and happened to mention the new role, an introduction to Ashly shortly followed. Having admired Ralph James’ “sleek” Instagram, Macy jumped at the chance to be part of the team’s growth. First impressions? Contemporary. Polished. Innovative. Macy particularly loves the partnerships within our community and networking at those events.
 
On the weekends, you’ll find Macy out walking her gorgeous chocolate Labrador, out for dinner at Monte Forte in Reigate, and most recently, redecorating her room. Interesting fact? Macy is ¼ Spanish and visits every year.

After almost a decade in business together, Luke and Nick are the established creative duo behind the award-winning marketing details you’ll find in all Ralph James property listings.

After meeting Nick in High School, Luke went on to study Film Studies and Art before taking a course in Graphic Design: New Media at UCA and specialising in Film production for 3 years. It was during this time that Luke would regularly stop in at Nick’s house for a catch up and a hot drink, and they’d talk for hours about combining their skill sets in business.

To be proud of what two pals have accomplished over a coffee is an understatement. Founding a business that combines his love for architecture, property and film on a daily business, Luke now creates award-winning HD video tours, alongside his oldest friend, whilst building lasting relationships with like-minded clients.

Luke grew up in Cheam before relocating to Ewell in his youth. Today, you’ll often find him tinkering on cars, a huge passion alongside his work behind a camera, or renovating his 17thcentury county cottage in Charlwood, making memories with his young family.

Acknowledged by numerous bodies for their work, notably BUILD magazine in 2020 for being ‘experts’ in their field, Nick and Luke are the creative duo behind the impressive interior photography and HD video tours.

Today, Nick lives in a repurposed Post Office he adores in Langley Vale village, just outside Epsom, but he grew up in a beautiful Victorian house in Kingston upon Thames, before relocating for secondary school. After receiving a triple distinction in Photography, Nick initially gained experienced within the industry through sporting events for AFC Wimbledon, music, weddings, and family portraits.

Having stumbled into the world of interiors following an opportunity through a family friend, Nick found a genuine interest within the industry, where he continuously strives to better his skillset. Having gained experience here, Nick combined with Luke to fill a gap in the market for quality photo and video, and together, they formed Still Moving London in 2014.

In his own words, Nick loves “seeing people’s interpretations on interior design, and how they decide to present and live in their home and getting to capture it. We get to live and breathe a real-life Pinterest board and get inspired daily.”

A huge football fanatic, and Chelsea season ticket holder, if not found on the terraces of Stamford Bridge or on a family outing with his young family, you’ll see Nick on a stretch of water paddle-boarding – a newfound passion.

After attending Reigate College, Katie worked her way up from her first position as a lettings negotiator to an appraiser and assistant manager, Katie has now found her niche within property management. She was intrigued by the modern design and business approach of Ralph James when she purchased her own home in Horley.

Following her maternity leave, she jumped at the opportunity to join the team and quickly became settled amongst her welcoming colleagues and clients. In her spare time, you’ll find Katie enjoying special days out with her two sons, family and friends.

Jamine’s love of property began at a young age; Whilst growing up, she moved with her parents a lot, stepping up the property ladder and taking steps toward their dream home.

After leaving Reigate College, Jasmine was inspired to take a job in block property management, based in Dorking, before following her passion and joining Ralph James as a Junior Negotiator, excited to work for a modern agency.

Having lived in Reigate for most of her life and attending local schools and colleges, Jasmine is incredibly knowledgeable of the local town and surrounding areas. She’s a true Reigatian.

In her spare time, you’ll find Jasmine at the gym, going out with friends and family or having a chilled day at home!

Originally from a small village in County Durham, Sam always knew that he belonged in the countryside rather than a more hectic city environment. Having purchased a home in Earlswood with Ralph James, Sam was himself so inspired by the agency that he quickly got in contact to be part of the team.

Sam brings a decade of experience in sales and lettings to Ralph James and since joining has become an integral member of the company. His love of property and expert knowledge of the local market is evident from the moment clients speak with him.

Leah has been through the home buying process several times – both for buying her own home and for buy-to-let – so she know exactly what makes things simpler and stress-free. One of those things is having a mortgage consultant who is totally on the case and fully responsive.

She always been interested in property and became a mortgage consultant and protection adviser in 2014. Since then I’ve helped people with regular purchases, remortgages, buying new builds, buy-to-let investments and with the Help to Buy scheme.

Leah really enjoys finding the perfect rate and product for whoever she’s working with and to make sure they get the best deal – whether that’s the lowest cost or the greatest flexibility – to suit their own lifestyle and circumstances.

Luke

Branch Manager

With a passion for property, Luke joins Ralph James, bringing his local knowledge and compassionate approach to our modern agency.

Luke grew up in Redhill and attended Reigate college, working locally for many years before entering the world of Estate Agency in 2008.

A Banstead resident for over ten years, Luke is a well-known face in the Village. With such strong ties to his community, you’ll often find Luke at the forefront of events, such as the Banstead Village May Queen event. On his days off Luke is consistently out making memories with his wife Megan and two daughters, Summer & Skye.

Having headed up Lancasters Property in Banstead for ten years, Luke decided to join Thomas, and merge the business under Ralph James in March 2023.

“By joining forces with Ralph James, I’m excited to introduce the marketing and social media presence to our town, and have a team beyond our branch.

Banstead is in need of a forward-thinking agent like Ralph James, and I am so proud to have been given the opportunity to be a part of it.”

Jackie’s early career was an office manager at the BBC, working on Radio 1 and 2, Top Of The Pops and Later With Jools to name just a few productions. After maternity leave, Jackie took a role as an estate agent administrator and fell in love with the industry; over 14 years, she climbed up the ranks to an Assistant Branch Manager.

Jackie is a true Reigatian. She and her children were all educated in the town and continue to live there. She’s always admired Ralph James for their first-class marketing and forward-thinking approach and is honoured to be the Sales Manager in a place so close to her heart. Out of the office, Jackie enjoys all Reigate has to offer: grabbing coffee from The Chapel, walking her dog Pebbles in the park, socialising with friends and chilling at home with her daughters.

Robin

Head of Sales, Redhill

Robin grew up in Redhill and attended schools in Reigate – so there’s not much about the local area that he doesn’t know. As a neighbour of Ashley, Robin would often enquire about gaining work experience at Ralph James; Four years later, and Robin is an essential part of the sales team.

Having trained under Ashley’s guidance, and now working closely with the branch Head of Sales, Robin acts as mentor to other members of the team; Approachable and friendly, he’s a huge personality in the office, and a driving force behind Redhill’s success.

Becoming a homeowner by himself at the impressive age of 21, Robin can relate to clients’ experience and has an insight which disarms nervous first-time buyers during sales progression. You’ll often find Robin remaining in the office after hours, and this drive has seen his position at Ralph James grow – he now values and lists properties as well as selling them.

On days off, you’ll find Robin on the golf course, or visiting local pubs; He’s also often in Brighton where he visits family during time off.

Sales Team Manager, Reigate

Marie-Elise graduated as a make-up artist in Glasgow, and after working as a cosmetician for the shows on cruise ships and running the on-board beauty boutique, she went on to become a manager at a leading cosmetics company for several years.
 
Estate agency had been in her mind for ages: with a love for property and a keen interest in buying and selling. After going for several interviews, Marie – Elise could see that Ralph James are modern and much more evolved, with a brilliant reputation, and she loved the concept and really personal approach. It was an easy choice to accept a position as part of their team.
 
Within two years, Marie-Elise has grown from a Junior negotiator, new to her role, to taking on a new opportunity in the new Dorking office, encouraging business growth and bringing in listings of her own. Her love of matching a buyer to their new home has naturally evolved into helping sellers move too.

Nicky’s first foray into Estate Agency came in the form of a weekend viewing guide whilst she was training at Stage School. Following her international career as a dancer, she returned home and took a full time job as a trainee negotiator before moving up the ranks of the company.

While working as a corporate agent, Nicky formed a friendship with Thomas and Ashley. When Ralph James opened their office in Reigate, it was the perfect time for her to join their expanding team. Nicky’s upbeat enthusiasm is a credit to the culture of Ralph James and she loves the local areas in which she operates, creating great relationships with clients new and old.
