2020 has been quite a year and one of the most challenging we’ve encountered with the ups and downs of lockdown and the remains of Brexit jitters. It wasn’t all rosy, but we managed to get a lot of people moved during the Spring and have since seen an explosion of sales and lettings.
The future is far from uncertain, but it doesn’t work to run an estate agency on a skeleton staff. Regardless of what the market may throw at us, we’re committed to getting you moved, so we’ve been working hard on growing our team and our coverage to offer a full and outstanding service whether you are selling or letting your property.
So without further ado, here’s a quick rundown of our newest team members.
One of our previous clients has joined the fold as a trainee negotiator. Natalie McKeever bought and sold a property through us and is no stranger to customer care: she previously owned a trio of shops in Reigate, Redhill and Dorking, but was looking to expand her horizons beyond retail. She’s always been in customer service and loves conversation and wandering around homes, which makes her perfect material for being an estate agent. It’s something she’d always thought she might be good at and has finally taken the plunge.
Sam Swinburne has joined as manager of lettings and will oversee the entire rental and management portfolio across Redhill, Reigate and beyond. We met Sam when he offered on a property through us: he loved the way we worked and asked if he could join us. His timing couldn’t have been more perfect, and he brings six years of valuable London estate agency experience.
Over in sales is Marie-Elise, who’s also spent a good deal of time in the retail environment as manager of the MAC cosmetics store in Gatwick Airport. A trained cosmetician, she spent several years working as the makeup artist for the shows onboard cruise liners and comes with all the conversational skills you’d expect from those environments. Another keen lover of property – and property shows! – she’s been curious about estate agency for as long as she can remember and we’re delighted she’s begun her journey with us.
If you’re out on viewings with us at the weekend, you could well find yourself in the company of our weekend viewing clerks, Carole and Sinead. Both are ex-cabin crew and are nothing short of amazing in their customer service. Carole is a longstanding local resident having lived in Bletchingley for 40 years, while Sinead moved to the neighbourhood about four years ago.
But perhaps most exciting of all is that Ralph James is expanding beyond Reigate and Redhill, and we’re thrilled to introduce Rebecca Taylor as our local special agent covering Dorking and the surrounding villages. An enthusiastic Westcott resident, Rebecca is Australian born and moved to Surrey in 2010 after meeting and marrying a Brit. We first encountered each other when she was involved in the same property chains as us while working at a local Dorking estate agency: there was an immediate connection and we shared the same modern outlook, which makes Rebecca another perfect fit.
If you’re contemplating selling or letting a property, why not come in and meet our team?
There’s always coffee and tea at the ready, and we’d love to show you how we can help you move to where you want to go.
