"When I moved in to this house 33 years ago, I never imagined I would stay so long. The space was so adaptable in this Victorian house. I made substantial alterations over the years and it has suited our family needs very well.
The location enabled my daughter to walk to school during her school years. The large living room allowed her the space to carry out her music and dancing practice. The kitchen/dining room is large enough to seat 8 around the table without encroaching on the working space. My bicycles and motorcycle are kept secure in the garage which opens onto the side road. There is power and light and easy access via a side door into the garden making it useful for garden tools. The car is kept safely off road at the front of the house. I like to retain a little greenery next to this parking but it might be possible to pave it for a second car. We have known many of our neighbours for years. It is a very friendly area.
On a summer evening you can open up the loft window and watch the clouds go by from the bath! In the winter you can keep cosy with the heated floor and watch the birds on the feeder through the kitchen patio doors. It is time for me to downsize but I’ll miss the house and the lovely neighbours."
