This semi-detached home has so much space with the latest extensions and modern additions added to make it an easy flow-through contemporary home for any growing family or professionals.
Sat on a corner plot, this property benefits from a driveway, garage, side access to the rear garden and has plenty of curb appeal. Stepping inside, the extremely large living room is light and well presented with laminated flooring in honey tones, a neutral palette and period features such as the picture railings, ceiling roses and open fireplace. There is under stair storage to house your coats and shoes and a small side area perfect to set up an 'at home office' should you work from home. The bay window floods this room with natural daylight right through to the kitchen/diner.
Fitted with Neff appliances including an electric oven, gas hob, real marble worktops and an electric heated kitchen floor, this is the real hub of the home where family and friends can gather for food and drinks. It's the ideal entertaining space with sky lights above the dining table to gaze up at the stars and doors leading out to the rear garden so you can set up a table and dine al-fresco in the warmer months. There is a handy utility room off the kitchen/diner so you can hide away the washing and a W.C.
Outside, the garden is a great size with a lawn area to maintain throughout the year if you happen to be a keen gardener and access to the garage.
Upstairs on the first floor there are three bedrooms, the master bedroom is a whooping 14'9 x 11'10 and the other two rooms are doubles. On the second floor, a luxury modern bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate bath with Velux windows.
This generous property is well situated in a popular area with lots of local shops on your doorstep. Shopping and parks are also within easy reach and this house also offers easy access to Redhill Station and the A27/M25 which have direct and fast links to the airports, London and Brighton.
"When I moved in to this house 33 years ago, I never imagined I would stay so long. The space was so adaptable in this Victorian house. I made substantial alterations over the years and it has suited our family needs very well.
The location enabled my daughter to walk to school during her school years. The large living room allowed her the space to carry out her music and dancing practice. The kitchen/dining room is large enough to seat 8 around the table without encroaching on the working space. My bicycles and motorcycle are kept secure in the garage which opens onto the side road. There is power and light and easy access via a side door into the garden making it useful for garden tools. The car is kept safely off road at the front of the house. I like to retain a little greenery next to this parking but it might be possible to pave it for a second car. We have known many of our neighbours for years. It is a very friendly area.
On a summer evening you can open up the loft window and watch the clouds go by from the bath! In the winter you can keep cosy with the heated floor and watch the birds on the feeder through the kitchen patio doors. It is time for me to downsize but I’ll miss the house and the lovely neighbours."
