This Edwardian semi-detached two-bedroom property is deceptively large. As you park up on the private driveway, you approach the pretty green front door via the side path. Stepping into the hallway where you can hang up your coat and scarf, you flow through to the dining room. The space this room along with the rest of the property has to offer would be a treat for any purchaser.
With high ceilings and large windows throughout, this home is bright and airy all year round. Whether you’re a fist time buyer, an investor or looking to downsize, this home is a treat for all. At the front of the property you will find the living room is warm and inviting, the large bay window lets in light all year round and this is the perfect place to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book at the end of the day. In the dining room you can add in an impressive dining table and chair set with enough space to entertaining family and friends.
Although separate, you can still stay involved in the conversation whilst you cook up something delicious in the kitchen. There’s plenty of cupboard space and during the warmer months you can open up the conservatory doors to let in a gentle summer breeze.
Upstairs are two generous bedrooms; the master bedroom includes storage but if you’re handy with a hammer you could also add in some built in wardrobes in the alcoves. Down the hall is the second bedroom, another great size room which would be perfect for when guests come to stay. The beautiful original fireplace adds a little bit of history and is a great feature.
The family bathroom has been completely refurbished with beautiful marble effect flooring, a large free standing shower and a modern bathtub.
Outside is the secluded south east facing garden, surrounded by shrubbery on either side, the decked area is great for setting up your garden furniture and preparing for those summer BBQ’s whilst the children play on the lush lawn.
"I loved the character of the house; the high ceilings and bay windows. It's a classic house structurally but easy to make contemporary inside. We knew we would modernise the bathroom straight away; I love the spacious shower, with the overhead drench and side shower heads. We also saw the potential for the kitchen side return and third bedroom loft conversion. It's close to Redhill and Earlswood train stations, which have great links into London. It's close to Reigate high street, which has some great shops and restaurants. The local Indian, Ruchita, is great and less than 10 minutes walk away! We like the open and green feeling created on the street with the park opposite."
