Surrounded by scenic lake views and stylishly designed houses, it is hard not to be impressed as you enter the Watercolour development. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, you feel the instant family friendly community vibe, picturing summer BBQ’s and fun get-togethers. Just a short walk to the lake, ideal for an early morning jog or summers afternoon stroll.
As you step inside this beautifully presented end of terrace, three double bedroom house, you are instantly impressed with the natural light that flows effortlessly from room to room. The design makes this home feel warm, bright, and inviting from the minute you walk through the door.
The matt finished kitchen has a mixture of light cupboards that contrast perfectly with the countertops and tiled effect vinyl floor. With plenty of storage space, you can make the most of the worktop and play around with new recipes. Spanning across the back of the house is the impressive and spacious living/dining room. The layout of this room allows you to separate the living and dining areas. There is a large under stairs cupboard that gives you space to keep coats and shoes tided away.
Double doors take you outside to the private rear garden with a patio area leading you to the lawn and established planted borders. There is a large shed for some additional storage space and a children’s playhouse. There is also a side gate to the back garden making it perfect for access to bikes and gardening supplies. There is an allocated parking space to the front.
On the first floor you have two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom that’s modern finish creates a calming and soothing feel. If the second double bedroom isn’t needed, this would make an ideal home office. Upstairs to the second floor, you will find the master bedroom that covers the entire top floor with sky lights and access to very useful eve loft storage on both sides of the room.
We moved to Watercolour 12 years ago and this was our first home together. We have loved living here and it has suited many milestones in our lives. From being a newly married couple to now parents of two children. We have fabulous neighbours and there is a supportive community feel to the development. On our doorstep, the beautiful countryside is great for walking, mountain biking and even sailing on Mercer's lake. We have really enjoyed our sunny garden for entertaining friends and lots of fun play dates for the children.
The location of the house is excellent, both Merstham and Redhill station, Lime Tree Primary school, and Redhill town centre are within walking distance.
