This gorgeous terraced Victorian house is situated in the popular Frenches location. Ideal for young professionals and families. This is a great house for those looking to move up in the market and are looking for some extra space.
As soon as you step inside it is instantly warm and welcoming, stepping through the front door you enter the living room. With built in storage and shelving in the alcoves, you can proudly display family photos or show off your book collection. IN the evenings you can curl up on the sofa and enjoy a movie night in with something sweet.
Making your way down the hallway you have the kitchen to your right, a contrast of grey and white gloss cabinets and wooden counter tops mix seamlessly. The pantry gives you storage space to keep things tided away and the breakfast bar provides your guests a spot to sit with a glass of wine as you catch up and prep dinner. To the rear of the property you have the dining room, although currently used as a sitting room. This is ideal for entertaining family and friends and leads itself nicely off from the kitchen so you can still be involved in the chat whilst you’re busy cooking.
Leading through the patio door and into the garden, this easy to maintain space has a decked area for your outdoor furniture and BBQ – the faux lawn means you don’t have to head outside rain or shine to cut the grass and there is a shed at the end of the garden for extra storage.
Upstairs to the first floor, you have two double bedrooms. The back bedroom has pretty views of the garden and a walk-in wardrobe. The family bathroom has a tiled finish with a sizable bath and separate walk in shower. The second bedroom leads you to the converted loft bedroom that offers access to the eaves and would be ideal for a home office!
This location is perfect, within walking distance to Redhill’s train station that has some great links in and out of London, Gatwick and Brighton.
"We moved into this traditional ‘2 up, 2 down’ railway cottage in 2006 when we were expecting our first baby. Fast forward 14 years; two more babies, a two storey extension and useable loft room, we have outgrown our much loved family home. It’s location is ideal for families, our children’s schools are within walking distance; St Joseph’s primary school, as well as the outstanding OFSTED rated St Bede’s Secondary school. Redhill station is just a 15 minute walk away and has meant commuting into London daily can be done in less than 50 minutes, door to desk, as well as day trips or nights out to the capital easily managed. The town centre has lots of famous high street shops and food outlets, and we are also lucky to have a number of places of natural beauty on our doorstep that makes us feel like we are miles from any town."
