What I rent: Rachael and Scott.
We think it’s important to be transparent, and what better way to demonstrate what it’s truly like to rent in Dorking, than from someone who currently is?
Old Reigatians: Surrey U11’s rugby festival.
Wet and muddy, but great fun! The raffle and car parking combined to raise an amazing £1k for this year’s ORRFC chosen charity, Dementia UK. If you’d like the uncropped versions of these images, team photos, and more, please contact the team manager at ORRFC, who has all of our photos from the day. From […]

The Reigate Christmas Fayre 2023.
Arguably the highlight of the Reigate calendar, Reigate Business Guild’s Christmas Fayre took place this year on Saturday 3rd December, and one again, Ralph James hosted a stall to raise money for Reigate based charity, Stripey Stork.
Unwrap Dorking: a festive evening of Christmas fun.
On Thursday 1st December, the heart of Dorking hosted an open-house style Christmas market. West Street, South Street and the High Street closed their roads and opened up late to the public. Local businesses were invited to open later, or host a stall outside their premises and take part in a festive evening of late-night shopping, food and drink, live music and family fun entertainment.
Santa Stork’s workshop: a morning volunteering.
Santa Stork is here to ensure that no child in our community has to think that Santa has forgotten them. Ralph James joined Stripey Stork in their Santa Stork workshop to volunteer as Elves and raise awareness for this amazing campaign. Every child deserves some Christmas magic.

Brook Road straddles the border of Redhill town centre and Earlswood, and set back in an exclusive, gated development lies a modern two bedroom, top floor apartment, currently let by landlord Rob Wood. Our lettings manager, Sam, recently caught up with Rob to get an insight on being an investor, and what it’s really like to be a landlord.
Growing up: more new special agents join the team at Ralph James.
The future is far from uncertain, but it doesn’t work to run an estate agency on a skeleton staff. Regardless of what the market may throw at us, we’re committed to getting you moved, so we’ve been working hard on growing our team and our coverage to offer a full and outstanding service whether you are selling or letting your property.
Coming of age: Thomas and Ashley on milestone birthdays.
Thomas and Ashley met in 2011 while working in the same estate agency: within 5 years they’d opened Ralph James and become business partners. 2020 saw Ralph James turn 5, and during lockdown Ashley turned 30 and Thomas turned 40, so what better excuse for a quiz.
